Required Skills: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Direct Client involvement with minimal oversight • Coordinate with all parties involved throughout process • Responsible to lead the team in the bid process and budget deliverables • Attend meetings during the preconstruction process • Prepare pricing from conceptual estimates to complete construction bid documents • Knowledgeable of major trades and components of building a construction project • Prepare technical and financial reports during the bid process • Analyze pricing proposals including historical data, current market conditions, subcontractor input to provide accurate proposals to clients • Lead and organize team throughout bid process Work Experience / Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field required • 10+ years of related work experience and close involvement with projects under construction • Critical thinking, problem solving, detail oriented • Complete understanding of construction drawings and the ability to spot missing elements • Excellent verbal and written skills • Ability to analyze technical information and the understanding of geotechnical reports • Building code and LEED requirements • Timeline and deadline oriented
Preferred Skills:

Included in this role is the management and the delivery of the preconstruction phases of the project and extensive client contact. The Preconstruction Director is responsible for the accuracy of a pricing proposal, which ultimately enables our clients to forecast and plan construction cost.
